Welcome to the Angel of the Sea! Built in 1850, the Inn is an airy, Victorian "painted lady." Completely renovated in 1988, the Angel is one of the premier B&Bs in the country. There are 27 guest rooms, all with private baths, and many with ocean views. All rooms are decorated in Grand Victorian style and each has its own unique personality.
One of the most sought after rooms is furnished in white wicker accented with a charming, purple floral pattern. It boasts ten windows with views of the ocean, a king-size bed, a daybed, a pleasant sitting area where guests can cozy up to a good book, and a claw foot tub and shower where one can relax in total luxury.
The Angel of the Sea has been rated "one of the top ten B&Bs in the United States." She has been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, QVC, Public TV, the Learning Channel, Discovery, Good Morning America, and Oprah Winfrey's "Best Vacations in the World." It was also named "Best Seaside Inn in the USA." The Angel by the Sea is one of the many beautiful reasons why the city of Cape May is a National Historic Landmark.
Unwind while enjoying the exquisite views from one of the many verandas, or take a refreshing dip in the Atlantic Ocean. In fine weather, ride into town using on of the Inn's complimentary bicycles.
