Built in 1916, The Harbor House Inn is the grand dame of the Redwood Empire, standing vigil on a rocky cliff overlooking Greenwood Cove with its spectacular rock formations and the powerful, ever-changing sea. Built in the classic Craftsman style, today its majesty lives on.
Outside, pathways meander through magnificent gardens with private seating and vista areas. Passing a secluded waterfall, steps lead to the private beach below. The constant surge of the wild Pacific sets the backdrop for this natural symposium of brilliant flowers, coastal birds and the distant bark of sea lions.
The drama continues throughout the Inn's ten guestrooms, its stately Redwood sitting room and breathtaking ocean-view dining room. The newly refurbished Harbor House Inn features classic and antique furnishings, fireplaces, decks, and private baths throughout.
A full breakfast and four-course dinner for two is included with each room and served daily in the dramatic Harbor House dining room. Distinctive California cuisine with inspirations from Tuscany and Provence is prepared fresh daily from the produce of local farms and the sea by Chef Paul Ciardiello and his staff.
