There are many hotels around the Bay, but only one directly on it. The luxurious guestrooms are decorated in soothing shades of driftwood and clay with custom-designed Japanesque influenced furniture in pecan colored bamboo wood. Rooms and suites feature fireplaces, decks, flat screen TV's, Bose stereos, robes, slippers, Frette linens and French Hermes toiletries. A collection of black and white photography on the walls of the common areas chronicles the history and natural beauty of the area. Binoculars are provided so that guests may fully enjoy the unobstructed and ever-changing marine views of San Francisco Bay, and those of Angel Island, the Tiburon Peninsula, the Bay Bridge, and the San Francisco skyline. Guests are invited to enjoy the courtyard sun deck on the second level.
The contemporary "Vista Suite," with dramatic king-size bed, offers a breathtaking panoramic view of San Francisco Bay and skyline and includes a wood-burning fireplace, sitting area, deck, wet bar, and marble-tiled bath with spa tub and separate shower. The penthouse suite has a full living room, grand deck with stunning vista views and a signature two person spa tub set in a floor to ceiling privacy window alcove over the water. A shower for two in the bath, two flat screen TV's and a wet bar round out this 900 square foot luxury suite.
Breakfast may be served in guest rooms, the guest lounge or on the guest's deck by request. Room service dinner delivery is also available from top restaurants in the area via Room Service of Marin.
Nearby activities such as bicycle rental, fishing charters, sailing, golfing, hiking and kayaking can be arranged through the concierge.
