The Hanover Inn is conveniently located on the Dartmouth College green, where guests enjoy access to all of the school's athletic facilities as well as its art exhibits, plays, concerts and films. The architecture is Georgian brick, and the environs are those of a small New England Village. The inviting lobby features a fireplace and sitting area offering a view of the College Green.

The award-winning Daniel Webster Room serves classic American fare in an atmosphere of Edwardian elegance. Recently opened Zin's Wine Bistro, with its upbeat contemporary ambiance, serves American cuisine and offers an extensive wine-by-the-glass list. Afternoon high tea is served Tuesday and Thursday in the lobby, which is appointed like a fine living room. Included is a wide assortment of pastries made on the premises.
