Nestled along the lush banks of Oak Creek, the Briar Patch Inn invites you to nurture your relationship with nature. At the base of the surrounding red rock mountains, the spring fed waters of Oak Creek create a healing, magical oasis, a quiet blending of 9 acres and 18 cottages.
The cottages, furnished with Southwest charm and Native American arts, are designed for comfort in rustic ambiance. Fireplaces, shaded patios, and privacy lure you to relax and enjoy the moment or a good book from the ample library. To help you relax, massages are offered in your own cottage setting or in the open air creekside gazebo.
Healthy breakfasts of fresh home baked breads and muffins, crunchy homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruits and juices, quiche, eggs in the shell, coffee and herbal teas can be enjoyed by the fireside in the lounge, or on a tray at your cottage, or best of all, at the creekside. In the summers, the music of Lyra (violin and classical guitar) brings the feeling of Old World charm to breakfast.
Hiking the mountain and canyon trails, exploring Indian ruins, fishing for rainbow or German Browns, birdwatching and sighting the bald eagle on the creek patio each spring are all highlights for the nature lover.
