In the southerly corner of Andalusia, bordered by the region's famous cork forests, orange groves and the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, the San Roque Club, a former mansion, is nestled on a hilltop in a nature reserve. On one side of the 100-room resort is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe.
Accommodations surround a lagoon pool or nestle amongst the flowers of the mansions gardens. Small, manicured paths lead to private suites and bedrooms which are set in individual bungalows in the gardens adjacent to the clubhouse. Accommodations include 50 suites and 50 standard rooms. All guestrooms have private patios, marble bathrooms, air conditioning and satellite TV. Suites, in addition, offer two private terraces, graceful Andalusian living spaces, bedrooms with king or twin beds and marble bathrooms with separate tubs and showers. There is a staff of 160 to serve the guests.
Dining at the San Roque Club is always a pleasure, whether you choose to dine in the restaurants or outside on the terrace. At night Bolero, the flagship restaurant, offers food that fuses the traditional tastes of Andalucia with the highest standards of modern international cuisine. For something a little more exotic, there is Kama Kura, southern Spain's best Japanese restaurant.
